I'm Genesis Skye -- an entrepreneur, passionate thinker, and food enthusiast, among many other things. As a young woman in her mid 20s, I often find myself on a quest of understanding, whether it's about personal growth, creating and nurturing healthy relationships, or figuring out how to set boundaries with people or situations that don't uplift me. I know that there are far more conversations to be had, and I'd love to connect with others who are on a similar journey.

My Story
I've always like to think that I possess wisdom beyond my years.
I recall the confident little girl I once was - like many I know, I had struggles as a child, constantly questioning why difficult things happened during my adolescence. It took time, but eventually realized that I hadn't yet discovered my purpose.
When the pandemic hit and we all found ourselves in quarantine, stimulus checks checks were coming in! I had the advantage to launch my first online business, "Lashes&Lingerie". This was a time were mink lashes were a serious trend, and everyone I followed on Instagram was showcassing lingerie through stunning photoshoots! I saw an opportunity that I knew women would love and gain from. But soon faced criticism about the content that I was posting to promote my business. Their comments made me question myself, and I started to feel insecure about my body.I knew then that this was not the brand I wanted to represent anymore.
So I made a pivot. I transformed my business into loungewear, embracing the slogan "Set the Tone," focused on woman feeling beautiful and comfortable in their homes. This shift led me to evolve my brand into a blog, where I discovered a passion for writing about self - development. Through sharing my own personal experiences, I reconnect with the dreams of that little girl I once was and explore the woman I aspire to be.
